I am interested in finding out about this subject and maybe get a qualification in it. I dont have qualifications in this area (just driving) but would like to find out more on what to do and study it. Where would i start?

If you are in the UK contact learn direct – they are very helpful.

Briefly, you will need A-levels (or equivalent of) in sciences pref. human biology.

    3yr Uni – BSc Physiotherapy.

From there you can specialise in sports physio – treatment of injuries mainly.

They love mature students – but are heavily oversubscribed and its very competitive so additional activities are a good idea.

Contact your local NHS – some do voluntary placements in their physio depts for people who are interested in going into that field. Go through direct to the physio department.

    Good luck
